Day 1

Mandalay Arrival

Enjoy a personal meet by our experienced driver at your hotel in Mandalay .Get ready for your amazing tour of Mandalay city, with top destinations like Mahamuni Pagoda,Zay Cho Market,Royal Palace, Shwenandaw Kyaung and Kuthodaw Pagoda.

Then climb up to the Mandalay Hill to see sunset on the Irrawaddy River and Mandalay City view. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 2

Outskirts of Mandalay

After you have finished breakfast, the second day of your trip begins with Mingun Pahtotawgyi.Then visit to the Mya Thein Dan Pagoda and Mingun Bell. Afterwards, head to Sagaing Hill,Umin Thonesae and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda overlooking Ayeyarwaddy River.

Next stop is Sagaing’s local market and discover locally made pottery, silver and other handicrafts. The afternoon’s activities will kick off with a visit to Amarapura, Myanmar’s penultimate royal capital. You’ll stop at a silk weaving workshop known for their exquisite merchandise. Once the sun starts to set, visit to U Bein Bridge which is one of the most impressive sunsets in memory. Overnight at Mandalay.

 

 

Day 3

Mandalay to Mt.Popa

Kick off the day with a delicious breakfast and an enjoyable ride to the magnificent Mt.Popa. Enjoy the scenic drive and take in the views,palm gardens,rice paddies,villages and water buffaloes.

A comfortable four-hours drive from Mandalay will take us to the magnificent Mt. Popa rising 1,520 meters into the sky. We will climb almost 900 steps to reach the top and Popa Taung Kalat, a temple that is home to Burma’s most revered nats (spirits).

During our ascent, we will pass dozens of nat shrines and the pilgrims that come to honour them. Don’t forget your camera, because when we reached the top prepare to be rewarded by breath-taking, panoramic views of the surrounding region.

Later,we can go to a nearby resort to enjoy the views over a local lunch. After lunch we have a wonderful opportunity to either take a scenic drive back to Bagan .

Following check in ,make yourself comfortable at your superb Bagan hotel and take the day to explore the city and surroundings at your leissure.

Day 4

A day at Bagan

Yes, we are heading to Bagan! A jewel of Myanmar, get ready to be dazzled by Bagan’s beauty. This ancient kingdom dates back to the 11th century and offers visitors over 42 sq. km (26 sq. mi) of ancient temples and temple ruins. This protected archaeological zone features more than 2,200 ornamented Buddhist temples, monasteries, pagodas and ruins. Be inspired by the impressiveHtilominlo, one of the largest and most impressive temples in Bagan.

We will make sure you don’t miss the Ananda Temple, with its four huge standing Buddha images alongside other figures, Ananda temple’s gallery is certainly one not to be missed.

All the excitement is bound to make you hungry. We will have lunch at one of our favorite small, locally run restaurants before returning to the hotel to rest and escape the midday sun.

As the evening draws in, we will visit  to the unforgettable Thatbyinnyu Temple, an asymmetrical cross-shaped temple built in the middle of the 12th century.

Sit back, relax and enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the rolling plains spanning Sunset Hill.

The perfect end to the perfect day. Overnight stay at your Bagan hotel.

 

Day 5

Transfer to Pindaya

After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to make a comfortable transfer to Kalaw.Sit back and enjoy the scenic journey through some of Myanmar’s most beautiful landscape. Be dazzled by all that Shan State has to offer, from towering mountains, through to lush fields before arriving in Pindaya.

 Embark on a scenic drive through Shan State, first stopping at Pindaya Market, a typical rural market selling an array of food and dry goods. Then continue to Pindaya Caves to explore this incredible complex. This multi-chambered cave system is filled with hundreds of Buddha statues and is a popular pilgrimage spot for locals. We then visit a local workshop making umbrellas and paper from the mulberry tree. This is one of the few areas in Myanmar still practicing this fast disappearing craft. Overnight at Pindaya.

 

Day 6

Mae Nal Mountain Trekking

After a relaxing night sleep and a breakfast to set you up for today’s adventure, you can expect a personal pick up at your hotel by our expert guide. Be ready at 11:00am and take time to enjoy the traditional lunch. We will leave from Pindaya to base camp (DaNu village) and get ready at 2:00pm. We will trek about 45 minutes to the Babylon camp on the top of Mt.MaeNal through the traditional farming lands on the hillsides. The views looking from the hills in the Southern Shan state are incredibly beautiful and breathtaking which will make you away from depression and some sufferings of sickness of being in the city.

We will have dinner , a bonfire and overnight stay at the Babylon Campsite on the top of the mountain.

 

Day 7

Pindaya to Mandalay Airport

We will have breakfast at the camp and trek back to the base camp around 8:30 am . Then we will drive to Pindaya and drop you off at 9:30am.

Drive back to Mandalay Airport  for conclusion of you tour, farewells and memories to last a lifetime.
