Afterwards, visit Zaycho market – the largest and most important market in upper Myanmar. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue your visit to Royal Palace which is a primary symbol of Mandalay and a major tourist destination. The Mandalay Palace is the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy. Then, continue to visit the ‘World’s Biggest Book’; the 729 marbles stone slabs of Buddhist scripture at Kuthodaw Pagoda. You’ll also stop by the Shwenandaw Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery),a superb traditional wooden building. And transfer to hotel you are staying in Mandalay.
You’ll see the admire impressive works of Burmese art and intricate wood carvings, Then climb up to the Mandalay Hill to see sunset on the Irrawaddy River and Mandalay City view.
Today, after breakfast at hotel and then drive to the jetty to board a local boat to Mingun, located about 8 miles upriver from Mandalay, is on the opposite bank on the Ayeyarwady River. The first visit begins at the Mingun Pahtotawgyi, an unfinished structure of its famous world largest brick base pagoda. Then visit to the Mya Thein Dan Pagoda and Mingun Bell,it is also where the largest ringing bell in the world. Mingun Bell weighs 90 tons and is claimed to be the largest well-maintained bell around the world.Stop for lunch at a local restaurant while experiencing the beautiful river and a glimpse of river life. Afterwards, head to Sagaing Hill, a religious center for Buddha devotees. The views across the river and surrounding hills are spectacular. We will visit Umin Thonesae and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda overlooking Ayeyarwaddy River. There are many visitors who come here to pay respects and pray at its main Buddha statue. You will visit Sagaing’s local market and discover locally made pottery, silver and other handicrafts. The afternoon’s activities will kick off with a visit to Amarapura, Myanmar’s penultimate royal capital.You’ll stop at a silk weaving workshop known for their exquisite merchandise. Once the sun starts to set, visit to U Bein Bridge.which was built in 1782 and is said to be the longest teakwood bridge worldwide. U Bein Bridge is one of the most recognizable places in Myanmar, and makes for a great evening trip from Mandalay so you can capture the beauty of its structure at sunset. As a stunning day comes to an end head back to Mandalay hotel for the night.
Meet up with your guide and crews to the Gaw Wein Jetty around 06:00 am and take a cruise along Ayeyarwaddy river the main river of Myanmar for 4 hours along the way you will enjoy the scenery and see the life style of Burmese people that are living on the riverbank. During our cruise we will provide fresh juice, blended coffee and some snacks for your breakfast. Throughout the boat trip, enjoy sight seening to Yandabo for 45 minute, a typical Myanmar village on the river bank of Ayeyarwaddy. Our first stop is Yandabo monument, where a peace treaty between the East India Company and Myanmar was signed. And walk through village to observe the daily life of this pottery village. Learn about the history and significance of village from professional guide and chat to the locals about their lives. We will climb almost 900 steps to reach the top and Popa Taung Kalat, a temple that is home to Burma’s most revered nats (spirits). During our ascent, we will pass dozens of nat shrines and the pilgrims that come to honour them. Don’t forget your camera, because when we reached the top prepare to be rewarded by breath-taking, panoramic views of the surrounding region. After delicious lunch, we will take a comfortable car ride back to Bagan. The way by the roadside can see the locals climbing up the palm tree and making jiggery.You’ll have free time on your last day in Bagan to relax at your hotel or explore the town at your leisure. As the evening draws in, we will enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere with dinner at the Sunset Garden. Today pack your bags as we will fly to Heho. On your arrival in Heho, you can expect to receive a warm greeting from your experienced guide and professional driver. Sit back and enjoy the scenic journey through some of Myanmar’s most beautiful landscape. Be dazzled by all that Shan State has to offer, from towering mountains, through to lush fields before arriving in Kalaw. From Kalaw we will have an enjoyable drive to green hill valley elephant camp in magwe village where we will be greeted with a welcome drink and an informative briefing on the day’s activities. The experts will tell us all about the history of the camp and the backstory to the elephant’s lives in Myanmar. Once we are fully briefed, we will enjoy the short walk to the river whilst passing through a reforestation project set up by the camp and local villagers. Get ready to be greeted by the elephants! We will take time to speak with the guides who know each and every elephant very well. We will learn their name, age and the story behind their retirement at the camp. We can enjoy feeding the elephants with their favorite bananas and sugar cane with the help and guidance of the camp experts. After feeding, we will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to get dressed in traditional shan clothing and prepare the elephants for bathing. Located between two small falls, we will join the elephants for their daily wash routine in a natural pool. After all the elephant excitement we are sure to have worked up an appetite. We will head back through the reforestation project and plant a tree on the way before enjoying lunch at the main camp. After lunch we will have some additional time to explore more of the camp by foot with a local trekking guide or interact with the elephants if appropriate. As the sun starts to go down, it’s time to say goodbye to the elephants and their mahouts before heading back for an overnight stay at the hotel in Kalaw. NOTE: For the well-being of the animals, elephant riding is not allowed.
After healthy breakfast, make an onward transfer to Pindaya. Embark on a scenic drive through Shan State, first stopping at Pindaya Market, a typical rural market selling an array of food and dry goods. Then continue to Pindaya Caves to explore this incredible complex. This multi-chambered cave system is filled with hundreds of Buddha statues and is a popular pilgrimage spot for locals. We then visit a local workshop making umbrellas and paper from the mulberry tree. This is one of the few areas in Myanmar still practicing this fast disappearing craft.
Then, head to Nyaung Shwe, an gatway of inle.
This evening we will unwind with a vineyard visit at sunset in Nyaung Shwe.
Get ready for an exciting day in one of Myanmar’s most wonderful regions. We will have the privilege of taking a comfortable, private boat to enjoy our journey across the lake, passing through villages with stilted houses, and floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Along the way we will see the famous leg-rowing fishermen who steer their boats with incredible balance. Afterwards, we will head to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary. Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda contains five sacred Buddha images and houses several royal barges that are used during the pagoda’s annual festival. We will then proceed to the village of Inpawkhone where we will have the opportunity to observe the traditional silk-weaving techniques of Inthar people. Inpawkhone is also known for weaving with the stems of lotus flowers, a time-consuming process that results in high quality materials famous throughout the country. We can also visit a cheroot factory where local Burmese cigars are rolled by hand. Next stop is the fascinating Inthar Heritage House. Here we will learn more about the history and culture of the lake’s indigenous people and enjoy a delicious Shan lunch. The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy at your own leisure. Continue sightseeing on the lake, take a stroll through one of the lakeside villages, or return to the hotel to relax. Overnight in Nyaung Shwe or Inle Lake.

Today we leave the beach and fly back to Yangon where the remainder of the day is free for some final sightseeing. Enjoy a pick up by our experienced driver at Yangon Airport and comfortable transfer to downtown. We will kick of today’s adventures with a visit to the breath-taking Kyaujhtatgyi Pagoda and its incredible 70-meter-long reclining Buddha. We will continue our stroll through Yangon’s colonial inner city with picture perfect photo stops on the way into downtown. Here we can explore the vast range of fabulous architecture, historical buildings and Asia’s finest colonial charm such as the post office. After spending some time soaking in the city, we will continue our walk on to Sule Paya, passing by the famous Strand Hotel, Mahabwndoola Garden and the Independence Monument before it’s onward to absorb the colors and culture of Little India and Chinatown. Later this afternoon we will continue our sightseeing to the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar known as “Shwedagon Pagoda” with its unbelievable 90 meters, gold leaf stupa. As the sun begins to set on an unforgettable first day, we will enjoy the breath-taking views from the Pagoda and surrounding skyline before transferring back to dinner.
