Detail itinerary

Day 1Kawlaw- Hinkhargone-Yar Pu - Meal ( /L /D )

Today our tour starts at 08.30am to commence our trek to the local Palaung tribe village, Yarthit and Yaryaw. Get ready for a fun and scenic trek through native tea plantations and mandarin orange groves.

We will enjoy lunch at a stunning view point. After we have refuelled with a tasty lunch, we will trek through Hinkhargone village ,Myindeik train station, home to the DaNu tribe. Here we will take a short break to enjoy some of the British style houses before moving on to our final local experience of the day at YarPu village.
Be excited, because tonight we will have the exciting experience of staying the night in a local homestay. Total walking time for day 1 is 6 hours and 20km.

Day 2 Kawlaw- Lamine- Khonehla - Meal (B/L/D)

After a local breakfast at your homestay, be ready to start trekking at 07.00am. Today we will walk through traditional villages with fantastic views and seasonal crops.
 
Our first stop will be the beautiful village of Lamine (DaNu tribe) followed by the smaller villages of Pin New and Paw Ke, home to the PaOh tribe. Here we will take a break and learn about the traditional art of hand-waiving.
Lunch break in the village of Kone Hla (DaNu tribe). Once lunch is finished, we will prepare to set off on the last leg of today’s trek which will end at Putu village (PaOh tribe).
We will have the opportunity to stay with a local family, eating and socialising with them. This is a great time to learn about a local’s way of life. Total walking time for Day 2 is 7 hours and 25 km.

Day 3Kalaw- Inle - Meal ( B/L / )

Following breakfast at our local family accommodation, we will prepare to start trekking at 07.00am. We will set off on today’s walk to KyautSu village, home to the PaOh tribe and then on to NanYoke village for a tea break.

 

Just before lunch we will arrive at the infamous Inle Lake. We will take a well-deserved lunch at the boat station before taking the boat to Nyaung Shwe city(1 hour boat ride)

 

And then transferred to the hotel for the night in Nyaung Shwe city or on the shores of Inle Lake. Total walking time for day 3 is four and half hours and 16 km.
