We will relax with a comfortable transfer to Bago, 80kms Northeast of Yangon, Bago was the capital of the Mon Kingdom during the 15th century.
Today, our short visit to Bago begins at the Kyikepun, four faces Pagoda built by King Dhammaceti in 1475.
Shwethalyaung Temple, home to a beautiful 55-meter long reclining Buddha.
After some time here, we will continue our explorations onto one of the most fascinating pagodas in Myanmar, the Mon-style Shwenawdaw Pagoda which boasts a spire 114 metres taller than that of Shwedagon Pagoda.
Afterwards, we continue Shwethalyaung Temple, home to a beautiful 55-meter long reclining Buddha.
We will take a well-earned break to enjoy a local lunch along the way. After refuelling on lunch, it’s time to continue our ride on to the Kanbawzathadi, Palace of King Bayintnaung where you can also see Hantahawaddy Archaeological Museum.
we will hop back in the car and take a scenic drive to the reclusive World War II memorial site near Yangon, Htaukkyan. The Allied War Cemetery is the final resting place for over 27,000 Allied soliders. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your Yangon hotel and conclusion of your unforgettable tour.
