The name “Yangon” (ရန်ကုန်) is derived from the combination of the Burmese words yan (ရန်) and koun (ကုန်), which mean “enemies” and “run out of”, respectively. This word combination is commonly translated as “End of Strife”.
The city’s colonial era name, “Rangoon”, likely is derived from the Anglicization of the Arakanese pronunciation of “Yangon” which is [rɔ̀ɴɡʊ́ɴ].
Our guide will pick you up your hotel at around 09:00 am.Our first visit will be Shwedagon Pagoda which is very famous for religious destinations of Myanmar. Shwedagon Pagoda,golden stupa is the heart of Myanmar over 2500 years old. And then continue to the Chaut Htat Kyi as known as reclining Buddha. The Buddha image is 66 metres (217 ft) long, and one of the largest in Burma. The feet of the statue carved the Traditional symbols 108 marks.Lunch will be served at local restaurants with delicious cuisines in Burma Kachin, Shan and Kayah. After having lunch, we will bring you to the Bogyoke Aung San Market at the centre of Yangon. You will have chance to explore the city’s largest selection of Burmese handicrafts.Our next visit will be colonial style building downtown and photo stop at City Hall , the Sule Pagoda & stroll around Mahabandoola Park’s.Heading to the Strand Hotel for a coffee break. For sunset head to Botahtaung Pagoda and Jetty, you can see the stunning views of Yangon’s river and enjoying the local lives around the area.
After enjoying sunset ,the guide will take you back to your hotel.

Depart Yangon and heading to Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Burma. It is a small pagoda (7.3 meters (24 ft)) built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves pasted on by its male devotees.
According to legend, the Golden Rock itself is precariously perched on a strand of the Buddha‘s hair. The balancing rock seems to defy gravity, as it perpetually appears to be on the verge of rolling down the hill. The rock and the pagoda are at the top of Mt. Kyaiktiyo.

Enjoy the beautiful morning sunrise at Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) before descending the mountain for transport back to base camp and drive to Hpa An, capital of Kayin state. The most famous of which is Kawgun Cave, Bayint Ni Naung Cave and Sadan Cave.
After that visit to Lumbini garden, nice looking garden located at the foot of Zwegabin Mountain. Then head to the beautiful Kyauk Kalap with its unique hill top pagoda. In the evening we will enjoy sunset views from the Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda before returning to the hotel.
Overnight at Hpa An.
After breakfast, Depart Hpa An at 7:00 AM and heading to Bago.
The journey continues to Bago to visit Kyikepun, four faces Pagoda and the famous, which is over a thousand years old, Shwemawdaw Pagoda which its spire is even taller than Shwedagon Pagoda. Then to the 55 m long Shwethalyaung reclining pagoda which is one of the country most revered.
Then extend the visit to Kanbawzathadi, Palace of King Bayintnaung. From there, heading to Yangon.
On the way, we will visit the reclusive World War II memorial site near Yangon, Htaukkyan. The Allied War Cemetery is the final resting place for over 27,000 Allied soldiers.
