Goteik viaduct

The Goteik viaduct also known as Gohteik viaduct is a railway trestle in Nawnghkio, western Shan State, Myanmar. The bridge is between the two towns of Pyin Oo Lwin, the summer capital of the former British colonial administrators of Burma, and Hsipaw, the principal town of northern Shan State.

Day 2

Pick Up (8:00 AM) - Last Departure Time - 11AmBe ready to be picked up by our experienced driver at your hotel in Mandalay .
Shwe Inn Bin MonasteryToday we will explore the magnificent city of Mandalay.We’ll kick off our exploration with an enjoyable journey to the sprawling Shwe Inn Bin Monastery. Constructed in 1895 of teak wood with a beautiful tiered roof and exquisite carvings, the monastery is representative of traditional Burmese style and home to over 30 monks.
Work ShopWe will take the time to visit a few other workshops where we can learn about ancient royal handicrafts, tapestry and puppet making before a lunch break at a local tea shop.
LunchAfter working up an appetite with our morning of sightseeing, lunch will be served in a hand selected, local restaurant (on your own account).Following our delicious lunch.
Shwe Nan Daw PagodaThis afternoon we will visit Shwenandaw Monastery, the ‘golden palace’. A grand example of 19th Century Burmese architecture, the monastery is beautifully gilded with gold, adorned with glass mosaic and home to impressive carvings of Buddhist myths.
SunsetThen climb up to the Mandalay Hill to see sunset on the Irrawaddy River and Mandalay City view.
Back to HotelSightseeing ended at around 6:00 Pm

Day 3

Drive to Mingun ( 1:30 hrs)
Mingun , Sagaing - Amarapura SightseeingMingun Bell, Myathein Tan Pagoda , Sagaing Hill, U Min Thone Sel Pagoda, etc.......

Additional Information

1. Infant seats are not provided

2. Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag.

3. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with TMTM prior to travel to confirm.

4. This is a private activity. Only your group will participate.

5. An additional surcharge will apply as per additional charges as shown in following section

6. For pick up locations outside of Pyay city limits, additional surcharge will be incurred that can be paid directly to the driver as well. Especially going to airport is far from city and that will be additional charges.

7. Departure time need to informed prior and negotiable as per your preference.
Note: these are price for downtown area only.If you want to go rough road or villages, the prior discussion is required and additional fees will be applied depend on your travel.

How Can I meet driver ?

After booking is confirmed, TMTM will provide your car drivers contact information and car number plate 2 days before trip.
At the day of trip driver will hold name board at Hotel Lobby or Airport arrival hall to welcome you.
