Golden Rock
Kyaiktiyo Pagoda also known as Golden Rock. Golden Rock is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Burma. It is a small pagoda (7.3 metres (24 ft)) built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves pasted on by its male devotees.
According to legend, the Golden Rock itself is precariously perched on a strand of the Buddha’s hair. The balancing rock seems to defy gravity, as it perpetually appears to be on the verge of rolling down the hill. The rock and the pagoda are at the top of Mt. Kyaiktiyo. The pagoda is located near Kyaikto in Mon State in the northern part of the Tenasserim coast. It is at a distance of 210 kilometres from Yangon and 140 kilometers north of Mawlamyine, the capital of Mon State.

2. Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag.

6. For pick up locations outside of Pyay city limits, additional surcharge will be incurred that can be paid directly to the driver as well. Especially going to airport is far from city and that will be additional charges.
7. Departure time need to informed prior and negotiable as per your preference.
Please note: You will be dropped at Kipum Station which is at the bottom of Golden Rock mountain and need to take public truck to the top of mountain.
And be aware that Golden Rock Mountain to Kinpon station ( bottom of mountain ) last bus departure at 6:00 Pm.
Private car are not allowed to go to the top of mountain.
Bago, Htauk Kyant War Cemetery can be visited on the way to/from but you need to depart early from departure place. Htauk Kyant War Cemetery close at 18:00.
